HR Fishbowl Goes Verbal

So over the last year you’ve humored me by loyally visiting this blog and weathering the barrage of rants which flow from my brain to my finger tips to WordPress and then out to the masses. Why exactly you do so still escapes me, but I’m humbled. Some of you got a chance to meet me at the 2010 HREvolution in Chicago where I said very little. Some of you got a chance to watch me at RecruitFest! 2010 where I said a bit more. On Friday, January 21, 2011 11am PT/2pm ET, I’m joining a couple of distinguished HR experts – Meghan Biro, Founder and President of Talent Culture, and Leighanne Levensaler, Vice President, HCM Product Strategy, Workday –  to shoot the breeze about just what’s happening with Talent Management in Today’s Economy. We expect to ponder:

1) What talent management means today
2) Workplace mobility, contingent workers and virtual teams in SMBs
3) How informal social learning networks are changing the traditional learning channels of talent development and management

We’re doing it as part of  the Focus roundtable series and you all are invited. Can you imagine anything better to do at this particular time on this particular Thursday? I think not. And if the prospect of participating in a good conversation – a debate even – over this interesting topic weren’t enough, consider the added benefit of having that conversation moderated by none other than Kevin Grossman – market intelligence and Em-tel™ guru, and founder of Marcom HRSay. Kevin’s well connected, extremely insightful, and promises to make this worth everyone’s time.

I’m really looking forward to the conversation and I only hope you’ll join us. Check out more details and register for the conference call on the Focus website.
